about keiffer

Keiffer has both the training, technique, skills and talent from a successful competitive career in ice dance; as well as over a decade of experience as an effective, creative and hardworking coach to children of all ages (from the youngest learn to skate age through 65+). Skating is one of Keiffer’s life passions and for the last 23 years he has been loyal to the sport and sharing it with others. 

When Keiffer is not skating, he is passionate about exploring nature, science and creativity. His hobbies include hiking local Michigan parks with his wife Rachel, spending time with family, building and enjoying fresh and saltwater aquariums, tending to their many houseplants, practicing yoga, mushroom foraging, and painting miniatures.

Keiffer has a curious mind and thirst for learning. Since retiring from skating competitively, in addition to coaching full time, Keiffer has also enriched his life through further education - completing college courses in science and microbiology.
